Al Sharpton Jr., known nationally as a political and civil rights activist, had a Jackson crowd of more than 1,500 cheering and applauding Sunday night.
“With an inauguration comes a leadership obligation,” Sharpton told the crowd, who sat quietly during parts of his sermon and applauded and cheered during other parts.
Sharpton, founder of the National Action Network, called his message “Don’t Get It Twisted.”
