The Boston-based social advocacy organization United for a Fair Economy conducted the study.
In its report entitled Foreclosure: State of the Dream, United for a Fair Economy argues that much of the housing losses suffered by Blacks and Hispanics were due to predatory lending in which buyers were saddled with loan terms and increasing costs they did not fully understand.
