Elgo is an artist of international reputation, and is a favorite of the Jamaican Tourist Board and a frequent exhibitor in Miami and Fort Lauderdale.
Elgo and his wife, Patricia, are owners of an art gallery in Montego Bay in Jamaica. Elgo and Pat have been stationed in the AARLCC museum next to his paintings to discuss his work with visitors to the exhibit. Elgo is a quiet and gracious individual. “My art is to allow people to look within themselves,” he says, “and see whatever beauty or purpose they might find within.”
