Community activists are sounding off about a southeast Houston billboard claiming Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican.
Some African-American leaders in Houston are calling the billboard along the South Loop and MLK a lie, or deceitful at best. According to the Houston Chronicle, the billboard is sponsored by a black conservative group called “The Raging Elephants”.
