Construction Careers Center Charter School is 98 percent African American and 80 percent of the students are economically disadvantaged.
“There is a huge segment of the population that doesn’t know the benefits they can reap,” said Gina Washington, principal at CCC. According to districtwide MAP scores, CCC scored the fourth highest of 13 St. Louis public high schools in advanced math, outperforming all regular high schools and four magnet schools.
