It fascinating to see what suggestions Google makes when you are typing in certain phrases.  In November of 2008, we did this once with President Barack Obama also.

So we started typing the following “black males are….” and you see the results.  Google made the suggestions shown in the above graphic.

We have used ‘Google Suggest’ in the past to see what people are searching for, but this one disturbs me.  According to Google’s policy, they only suggest terms that are searched the most often.  I suggest we all search the term “black males are a gift from God!”

We did the same query in November 2008 for “barack obama is….”   Apparently, many people think he is muslim and the antichrist.

If you’re signed in to your Google Account and have Web History enabled, suggestions are drawn from searches you’ve done, searches done by users all over the world, sites in our search index, and ads in our advertising network.
