A New York City Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places at 1698-1709 Bergen Street humbly sits in a modest Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn residential neighborhood.

Known as the Hunterfly Road Houses, four frame houses, located along an old Native American trail and, later, colonial road, are examples of homes of free people of color in the urban North. The area was called Weeksville.
